Channel Retaining Wall Repair on Jl. Palem Raya Kembangan is Completed

West Jakarta Water Resources (SDA) Sub-agency has completed repair work on connecting (PHB) channel's retaining wall on Jl. Palem Raya, Joglo Urban Village, Kembangan, West Jakarta. With this repair, it is hoped the channel can be optimal in holding water discharge.

West Jakarta SDA Sub-agency's Drainage Maintenance Section Head, Wawan Kurniawan stated, previously channel's retaining wall was collapsed due to strong water flow. His side repair the collapsed retaining walls as long as 30 meters with height of 2 meters.
"We deploy 25 West Jakarta SDA Sub-agency Unit personnel to repair it. The work is now finished, thus we hope water can flow smoothly," he said, Thursday (4/15).

"We repair it by cleaning debris from the channel and patching it using river stones, cement, and sand," he explained.
